A relatively new Crabapple cultivar with an incredible display of flamingo-pink flowers in spring.
After flowering, Malus Flamingo puts on dark red-burgundy foliage that turns to dark green by mid-summer, and then gives a firey display of red and gold autumn foliage. Leaves fall in early winter to reveal small, glossy, cherry-red Crabapples along deep reddish-brown branches.
Malus Flamingo has an overall upright habit making it ideal for avenue and street plantings, and is a great choice for gardens where a narrower canopy is desired.
Grows to 3-4m over 10 years.
